Ian Carter brings over 30 years of International hospitality experience to The Solara Group as a Senior Advisor & Partner having held several senior positions at internationally recognized UK and US hospitality companies.
For the last 15 years, Ian has been with Hilton Worldwide, joining Hilton International as CEO in London in 2005. He was an integral part of the senior team that took Hilton Worldwide private and then public in 2013. Hilton Worldwide now has over 6,000 hotels across 13 brands including the luxury brands of Waldorf Astoria and Conrad and operates in over 120 countries around the world. Prior to joining Hilton, Ian served as an Officer and President of Black & Decker Corporation.
John Ceriale

John Ceriale is the president of Prospect Advisors, the exclusive hotel advisor to Blackstone Real Estate Advisors (BREA). Since creating Prospect Advisors in 1998, Ceriale has been responsible for the management of BREA’s hotel investments, located across the U.S., Caribbean, and Europe.
In August 2005, Ceriale was instrumental in Blackstone’s acquisition of Wyndham Hotels. He subsequently orchestrated the creation of LXR Luxury Resorts, which incorporated Wyndham, Boca Resorts, and other existing assets. LXR invested $1.2 billion into these properties, thereby ensuring their standing among America’s finest hotels in the luxury marketplace.

Prior to The Solara Group, Charlie was an Associate at KKR on the Real Estate team. KKR is a global investments firm with $471 billion AUM. Charlie was responsible for underwriting, executing, syndicating, and closing senior loans, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity investments across multiple asset classes and vehicles.
Charlie was born in Melbourne, Australia and attended Southern Methodist University’s Cox Business School in Dallas, TX.
